1971 was the Pittsburgh Pirates' 90th season in franchise history. Led by Roberto Clemente and Willie Stargell, the lovable group known by the famous "We Are Family" mantra won the National League East Division and took care of Mays and McCovey's San Francisco Giants in the NLCS. In the Fall Classic, the Buccos matched up with the Baltimore Orioles and emerged victorious in a thrilling seven-game battle. This stainless steel watch with a black leather band has "1971 World Champions" on the face with the Pirates vintage logo. The beautiful timepiece is a token of the Pirates' World Series achievement in what would be Clemente's second-to-last season in baseball -- and, sadly, his 2nd-to-last year alive. Presents in EX/NM condition. A great addition to any Pirates or baseball collection.
