Martial arts superstar Bruce Lee shows off his lethal punch in this Type 1 photo for his 1971 film, “Fists of Fury.” This period action film was Lee’s second major starring role and features a young Jackie Chan as an extra. Touching on the long Chinese-Japanese rivalry, “Fists of Fury” became the highest grossing Hong Kong produced film at the time. Lee would break this record with his next film, “The Way of the Dragon.” The Type 1 photo has studio catalog numbers along the lower left that have been partially crossed out. The back has National General Studios information copy about the film, then known under the title, “The Iron Hand.” The photo has been encapsulated and graded Type 1 Authentic by PSA.
