Nice looking 1971-72 Boston Braves 10K Gold American Hockey Association League Division Championship ring presented to Leon D. Kennedy, who worked in the Braves Publicity Department from 1971 through 1973. The Braves were a Boston Bruin minor league team who played in the AHL for 3 years, from 1971 through 1974. Like the big club they also played their games in old Boston Garden. Large ruby red stone on top surrounded by "Boston Braves 1972". "Kennedy" on one side above crossed hockey sticks and a puck with "Season Championship" and a raised image of the Braves logo on the other. "Balfour 10K" stamped on the inside. Size 14 1/4. A little scraping along the top edge of the red stone on top.

Letter from the Kennedy family.
