Rick Monday was the first player ever taken in the baseball draft. He had a long, solid career in spite of being plagued with chronic back problems. Presented here is Monday's 1970 Oakland Athletics vest type yellow road jersey game worn and signed by the popular center fielder. Monday hit .290 with 10 HR and 37 RBI in 112 games for the 1970 Athletics. On the front chest Monday has signed right above his number 7 in 8-9/10 looking black felt tip pen. Kelly green "A'"s and number "7" in white trim sewn on front chest with large "7" the same sewn on back and "MONDAY" in just Kelly green sewn on back. McAuliffe, Size 44, and "70" tags sewn in front tail. Totally original jersey displays moderate game use.

Includes LOA from SCD Authentic (Troy Kinunen/Dave Bushing).
