In an 18-year career that sent him to six different teams on seven occasions, Grant Jackson compiled a lifetime 86-75 log with a 3.46 ERA and 79 Saves. He was primarily a starter for his first five years in Philadelphia, and this sparkling 1970 road jersey came from his final year in Philly before a trade sent him down Interstate 95 to Baltimore.
On the front left tail is the "Wilson" manufacturers Size 42 tag with wash instructions. Embroidered below in black is "1970 Set 2" in red chain stitch. In the back inside collar is the "G. Jackson" chain-stitched strip tag. On the front left chest is “P.” On the front right chest and on the back is the player number "29." All lettering and numbering is done in burgundy chenille on white tackle twill, with minimal fraying of the stitching primarily on the back number. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Jackson has added his distinctive autograph in black Sharpie on the lower front, adding an inscription of his No. 29 directly beneath his signature.
