Addendum: This warmup jacket now has MEARS authentication that will accompany the lot.

Red Auerbach made yet another shrewd acquisition when he drafted unheralded and under-sized center Dave Cowens out of Florida State in 1970. Cowens simply responded in the 1970-71 campaign by being NBA Co-Rookie of the Year (with Geoff Petrie) and returning the Boston Celtics to their winning ways after the retirement of another left handed center, Bill Russell.

Presented here is Dave Cowens' absolutely stunning rookie season warm-up jacket, in deep Celtic green with white letters and gold trim, while delightful white shamrocks in gold trim on the sleeves. COWENS is proudly presented on a patch on the back of the jacket. A Musinsky's Sand-Knit size 48 tag is inside the jacket, with Dave's unique penmanship boldly displayed in black marker in the front left area.

A Sports Investors Authentication LOA and MEARS LOA are both included with this delighful garment. Wow!
