Very nice collection of mementos from the 1968 World Series between the Detroit Tigers and the St Louis Cardinals. The Tigers came back from a 3-1 deficit to take the series highlighted by Mickey Lolich pitching and winning a record 3 complete games, besting St. Louis ace Bob Gibson in game 7. Included in this set is Detroit Tigers team signed ball. Many of the autographs show sign of fading and would rate a 2-3/10. Autographs include: Norm Cash, Dick McCauliffe, Ray Oyler, Don Wert, Mickey Stanley, Jim Northrup, Tommy Matchick, Jim Price, Gates Brown, Mickey Lolich, Daryl Patterson, Fred Lasher, John Wyatt, John Warden and others. Also included in this lot is a World Series program issued at Busch Stadium. On the top in light pencil is the date: Thursday October 10, 1968. Inside is a filled out box score. The box score was not verified against the official box score for accuracy. The last set of items are ticket stubs from games 1,2, and 7 all played at Busch Memorial Stadium. Game 1 is terraced reserve with a face value of $8.00. The tickets from game 2 and 7 are "standing room only" with a face value of $4.00 each. Imagine seeing 3 World Series for $16.00.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
