Clean 1968 Topps #177 Mets Rookie Stars Nolan Ryan & Jerry Koosman rookie card. Sharp corners are accompanied by a clean image. It is a somewhat rare rookie card in that both players pictured went on to outstanding careers, which adds to its appeal. Both Mets pitchers were a year away from leading the Miracle Mets to the 1969 World Series crown.
Most pitchers in history have been overshadowed by the Hall of Famer Ryan, but Koosman had double digit wins as a pitcher in 13 different seasons, including two where he won 20+. Quite impressive for the "other guy" on the card!
