Addendum: Year of jersey updated from catalog.

Joe Moeller pitched parts of eight seasons for the L.A. Dodgers from 1962 (at age 19) through 1971. During the 1967 and '68 seasons, he was limited to six games and three games, respectively, suggesting that this Moeller ’67 road gamer received a team-executed number change (he wore #38 from 1962-67), perhaps for use by Ron Hunt in ’67 or coach Danny Ozark in a subsequent season (each wore #33). Regardless, it is a fine example of a vintage Dodgers flannel. The classic underscored "Los Angeles" is sewn in blue felt script across the front along with No. "33" in red felt. A larger "33" in blue felt appears on the reverse. Proper Rawlings tagging with Size 44 is sewn on the left front tail along with "Moeller 67" chain-stitched in blue. Just inside the tail are wash instructions with a "Set 1 1967" flap tag. Other than the team-instituted number change and some minor glue staining in the vicinity of the numeric overlays, the only other alteration is stitch reinforcement to one side edge of the Rawlings label. The shirt shows heavy wear with consistent soiling/sweating along with some spot stains on the back number.
