Mal Graham was a 6’ 1” point guard who played two NBA seasons for the Boston Celtics (1967-68 and 1968-69). Through a total of 66 regular-season games, he averaged 4.7 points per outing. But during both of those seasons, the Celtics emerged as NBA champions, defeating the L.A. Lakers in back-to-back NBA Finals.

This lot features Graham’s game worn Boston Celtics road jersey from that memorable era. The classic green durene tank includes the Wilson manufacturer’s tag on the left front tail (size “40”), complete with washing instructions. It reads “CELTICS” in arched fashion across the chest in white tackle twill letters, with his uniform number “11” appearing on both the front and back in like tackle twill fashion. The jersey reflects some shrinkage and reflects slight fraying and puckering around the letters and numbers. The Celtics patented white and green elastic trim wraps around the sleeves and collar. A scarce early Celtics gamer from the tail end of Boston's incredible string of 11 titles in 13 seasons, a dynastic run that will never be duplicated in pro sports.
