Pair of Full Unused Tickets, VG-EX PSA 4 Blue version and VG PSA 3 yellow version, to the National Football League Championship Game between the Green Bay Packers and Cleveland Browns held at New City Stadium in Green Bay, Wisconsin on January 2, 1966. The Packers prevailed 23-12, holding the rival Browns to 38 offensive plays. In the 1965 Championship Game Vince Lombardi built his whole game plan around stopping the remarkable Cleveland running back Jim Brown. The plan worked as Hall of Famer Brown had only 50 yards rushing on 12 attempts in his last game as a professional football player. He retired at his prime to go into motion pictures. Both ticket are fairly clean and display well with good color. Corner wear appears to be the main reason for the VG and VG-EX ratings. At present these are the only 2 tickets designated by color variation, hence the highest in each category. For point of reference there have been an additional 6 tickets graded 4 or better by PSA without regard to ticket color, 1 VG-EX 4, 4 EX-MT 6, and 1 NM-MT 8.
