The 1964 USC Trojans football team, coached by the legendary John McKay, finished their season with an 8-3 overall record, good enough for a Pac-8 Conference co-championship with Oregon State. A thrilling, 20-17 victory over No. 1 ranked Notre Dame on November 28th closed out the regular season. This lot includes a team-signed Trojans branded football signed by 52 members of the team and the coaching staff. Notable signatures, the majority of which were written in green ink, include eventual (’65) Heisman Trophy winner Mike Garrett, co-captains Craig Fertig (quarterback) and Bill Fisk (guard), split end Ray "Snake" Cahill, fullback Ron Heller, Head Coach John McKay, assistant coach Marv Goux, and student football team manager Robert “Bob” Kardashian. Extraordinary piece of USC and Los Angeles memorabilia all rolled into one!
