The one and only perfect GEM MINT PSA 10. The story of Tony Conigliaro is the ultimate, tragic tale of "What could have been?". After an injury shortened rookie season in 1964, where he still managed to hit 24 home runs, Conigliaro came into his own the next year, becoming the youngest home run champion in American League history at the age of 20. He belted 28 in 1966 and had 20 after 95 games in 1967 when a Jack Hamilton fastball got away and landed Tony in the hospital. Tony made a valiant try at a come back after missing all of 1968, having a good year in 1969 and a tremendous 36 home run and 116 rbi year, both career bests, in 1970, but the vision problems returned and forced him into early retirement the next season.
