In 1964 the Philadelphia Phillies led the National League most of the later half of the season. With just 12 games left to play they held a seemingly insurmountable 6 1/2 game lead. They then proceeded to lose 10 games in a row, including the first 7 at home, starting with a 1-0 loss to Cincinnati when Chico Ruiz stole home for the games only run. They ending up finishing 1 game back of the pennant winning Cardinals, tied with the reds for 2nd place. The following items were produced in anticipation of a Phillies trip to the World Series.
