Besides singing, Elvis Presley – the “King of Rock 'n Roll” – was also an actor with more than 30 movie credits to his name. One of those films was the 1964 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer release, Viva Las Vegas, a romantic comedy in which he co-starred with Ann-Margret. The film is regarded by many as one of Presley's best films and it is noted for the on-screen chemistry between the two stars. The film also marked their first time on screen together. It ranked No. 14 on Variety magazine’s year-end box office list of the top-grossing films of 1964.

This lot offers an 8” x 10” black-and-white publicity photo from 1964 promoting the film, which shows Presley in a suit and tie with perfectly quaffed hair strumming a guitar. The reverse side includes printed details about the film including that it was produced by Jack Cummings and directed by George Sidney. Great piece of Hollywood memorabilia for any Elvis fan or classic movie buff.

The photo presents NM-MT condition with exceptional clarity, clean borders, and a smooth, crease-free surface. The only blemish is slightly ruffled corners. Encapsulated Type I by PSA/DNA.
