Offered here is a 1963 Japanese Menko JCM14f complete set of 30 cards in three uncut sheets. When originally produced in Japan, each card was intended as a boardgame piece and not a trading card. But over the years collectors have sought after this rare and obscure set in the hopes of finding the greatest home run hitter in the history of professional baseball, Sadaharu Oh. Two of his coveted cards are featured in this set, both coming on the same smaller six-card sheet. The left-handed swinger appears middle right in mid stride (#8258690) and bottom left following through (#539167). High-graded examples of these fetch great prices online, and these two can be cut out and graded by PSA if one so chooses. According to the pop. report, There are only 10 of the former and 6 of the latter ever encapsulated by PSA.

Each of the cards contains a full color image of the player along with their name and position on the front in Japanese writing. Other Japanese stars included in the set are Nagashima, Harimoto, Inao and Nomura as well as American players Jim Baumer, Tony Roig and Jim Marshall who tested their skills overseas. The two 12-card sheets have some edge wear and subtle creasing on the front. The 6-card sheet with the two Oh's have fairly sharp edges and corners, with two minor creases. Overall the set appears to be in EX overall condition.
