The logo is featured "in action" going up for a rebound on his 1961 Fleer basketball trading card. Hall of famer and legendary player and scout, Jerry West paved the way for the Lakers championship pedigree when he finally took the team over the hump in 1972. If it weren't for those pesky and lengthy Celtics teams that dominated the 1960's, West would have surely brought home glory with his good pal Elgin Baylor on more than one occassion.  His #66 card has been graded PSA MINT 9 and features oustanding picture clarity with dark green color richly placed on top just behind a colorful pink and yellow Lakers logo. Only thing holding this card back is the just less than perfect centering right to left. As of today there is only one example graded higher and only thirteen with MINT status on PSA's population report.
