Partial set (7/10) of the 1961 Union Oil Hawaii Chiefs basketball team which played as a member of the professional American Basketball League during the 1961-62 season. Players included are Frank Burgess, Lee Harman, Rick Herrscher, Lowrey Kirk, Max Perry, George Price, and Dale Wise. Herrscher also played professional baseball and appeared in 35 games for the expansion 1962 New York Mets. Sepia tone cards range from EM to NM. Interesting regional basketball issue.
