1961 was a banner year for Mantle, who hit a career-high 54 home runs. Despite the fact that teammate Roger Maris eclipsed Mantle's mark to win the home run title, Mick's league-leading bases on balls stands as evidence he was still the most feared hitter in the League. The offered Mantle card from that historic season features a perfect blue sharpie signature on the front. Card itself is clean and bright with an ideally placed signature. Card has irregular left and right borders but retains nice eye appeal. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA and labeled "10" for the autograph.
