One of baseball's greatest clubs, the 1961 Yankees won 109 games in the regular season (fourth best all-time) setting a then team record for home runs with 240. Almost half of those clouts were registered by the famed M&M boys, Mantle and Maris, in the course of their epic duel for the single season record. This large (61" by 43") display incorporates a complete group of 26 signatures of all the key players from that venerable team. Most are on blank 3x5 cards with Maris and Mantle being on separate 8x10 photos and Berra and Ford are on gold HOF postcards. Other elements framed within this comprehensive and elaborately designed display are two 3 ½ inch vintage 1961 Yankees AL Champions pinback buttons and two similar Cincinnati Reds NL Champions buttons. Also featured are original ticket stubs to all five 1961 World Series games, a WS press pass, full NY and Cincinnati World Series programs, a 1961 Yankees season schedule book and a 1961 Yankees color team photo. LOAs from PSA/DNA and JSA.
