In 1960, Dodgers outfielder John “Rip” Repulski played in just four games for the Blue Crew before being traded to the Boston Red Sox where he finished his MLB career a year later. This lot includes Repulski’s little-worn road grey flannel Dodgers jersey from that season. The Spalding (size 44) jersey boasts the double blue piping which runs the length of the button path and around the collar and sleeve cuffs. "Los Angeles 20" is applied to the chest in blue and red felt, respectively, with number "20" repeated on the back. Proper "Spalding [size] 44" labels appear at lower left exterior tail, above a blue chain-stitched "Repulski 60" embroidered directly into the jersey body. The jersey is in pristine condition with the exception of so noticeable sweat-staining around the collar area.
