1960 Los Angeles Rams home jersey game-worn by running back Jon Arnett. In 1960 he played in all 12 games for the Rams, rushing for 436 yards and 2 touchdowns while also catching 29 passes for 226 yards and 2 touchdowns. For his 1960 season he was named to the Pro Bowl. A local Los Angeles product who attended Manual Arts High School before an outstanding college career at USC where he was 1st Team All-America, Arnett went on to play 10 years in the NFL with the Los Angeles Rams (7) and Chicago Bears (3) from 1957 through 1966, and was named to the Pro Bowl 5 times (1957-1961). The royal blue jersey with has a large number "26" in gold both front and back with smaller numbers on both sleeves. There are six buttons sewn to a crotch flap plate at the front shirttail. No tagging is present. It appears that the sleeves and the bottom have been cut off from the original length. Whether this was a player customization or collector manipulation is unknown. Jersey exhibits excellent wear with plenty of fraying and stretching, plus a 1/2" tear to the fabric on the lower back. Great jersey from a real hometown Los Angeles favorite.

Includes Letter of Provenance from the Newport Sports Museum as well as a Letter of Authenticity dated 6/17/06 from Jon Arnett himself.
