Offered is an original photograph capturing Wilt Chamberlain’s first 50-point game of his illustrious career. Wilt put up 50 an almost mythical 118 times during his 14-year career, and the first instance was just eight games into his rookie season. Wilt absolutely handed it to the Cincinnati Royals in the road contest, dropping 55 points and 29 rebounds in 47 minutes. The Warriors defeated the Royals 124-116 that night. Wilt’s determination that would lead to his dominance throughout his career is evident on his face, as a Royals defender attempts to swipe the ball away. The gripping image is encapsulated and authenticated Type I by PSA/DNA. The offered example is magnificent, highlighted by bold colors that must be seen to be believed.
The card's centering displays notably attractive proportions with only a slightly upward lean. The sensitive red caption area at the lower left is particularly strong, with only slight wear on the left edge. Corners present about NM-MT.
