In 1959, the Boston Celtics were once again crowned NBA Champions. Led by Coach Red Auerbach, the team compiled a regular-season record of 59-16 and defeated the St. Louis Hawks in seven games in the NBA Finals. This lot features a rare team-signed 20”-by-24” sepia tone team photo. It was signed in blue marker by all 12 team members at a team reunion function as well as by then-team trainer Buddy Le Roux and Auerbach himself. The 12 players’ signatures are K.C. Jones, Lou Tsioropoulos, Tom Heinsohn, Bill Swain, Jim Loscutoff, Sam Jones, Frank Ramsey, Gene Conley, Team Captain Bob Cousy, Bill Sharman and Bill Russell. A great piece of basketball history!
