Baseball Hall of Famer Jackie Robinson signed this personal check on September 21, 1959. The document measures 2-3/4" x 6-5/16" and has been neatly signed "Jack Robinson" on the appropriate line in blue ballpoint ink. Drawn on The First National City Bank of New York in New York City for $22.00, the check has Robinson's name ("JACK R. ROBINSON") printed in block letters just to the left of the top border. The document presents at the apparent NM level with standard bank cancellations and punches not affecting the near flawless signature.
