Presented here and fresh-to-the-hobby is this very nice 1958 Topps Baseball complete set of 494 cards (#245 not issued). Our consignor built this set totally from scratch as a young collector, pulling the majority of these out of '58 Topps packs and kept them in a three-ring binder for over half a century. Three cards have been graded: #150 Mickey Mantle - PSA GOOD 2, #86 Valmy Thomas - PSA EX-MT 6 and #487 Mickey Mantle All-Star - PSA EX-MT 6.
The remaining ungraded cards fall mostly in the GD to EX range, with a few as low as PR/AUTH and some as high as EX-MT in our estimation. Of course, there is no guarantee how PSA will grade any these. We have posted high-res images of 46 raw cards (the ungraded #487 Mantle AS card with image posted is not included in this set). It should be noted that approximately 20 cards have what appears to be black marker along a small section of one edge (usually the left). On many, you cannot even notice this blemish from a front or back vantage point unless you examine the sides/edges. Fortunately, the only notable card we found to be affected by this is #310 Ernie Banks. Two others are #11 Don Zimmer and #120 Johnny Podres.
