Jack Coleman was a 6’-7” forward out of the University of Kentucky. He broke into the fledgling NBA in 1949 where he won a Championship with the Rochester Royals in 1951 and another one with the St. Louis Hawks in 1958. This modest (by modern standards!) ring was awarded to Coleman for his part in bringing an NBA Championship to St. Louis. The face of the ring has a vintage Hawks logo with a diamond center surrounded by 1957 -1958 NBA CHAMPIONS on raised letters. The left shank has a “J” for Jack within a wreath and the right shank carries the same wreath with a “C” for Coleman at its center. A 14k hallmark is located inside the band. The ring shows nice even wear from use with the expected surface wear and scuffs. A very attractive Championship ring dating to the NBA’s early years. Weight: 20 grams. Size: 10.
