1957 World Series program between the New York Yankees and the formidable Milwaukee Braves. Since moving to Milwaukee in 1953, the Braves had finished 2nd every year but 1954(3rd), 1957 would see them finally reach the World Series. Milwaukee took their first World Championship since 1914 by an exciting 4-3 margin, with ace righthander Lew Burdette contributing 3 complete game victories. Partially scored New York version program is loaded with player photos, articles and period ads. Wear along and 1/2" splitting at lower spine. Some creasing/indentations to front cover. Light stains to the yellow colored bottom. Tearing at upper back top corner with touches page below. Small 1" tear ar lower spine on back cover. Some pencil writing on the Yankee's box score page listing the score inning by inning. Based on this appears to be from Game 2, a 4-2 Brave's victory.
