The 1957 New York Yankees won the franchise's 23rd pennant, finishing with a record of 98 wins and 56 losses. Casey Stengel's boys were then defeated by the Milwaukee Braves in the World Series in seven hard-fought games. This OAL (Harridge) ball features 21 autographs (no clubhouse) highlighted by Mickey Mantle on the sweet spot in 6/10 blue ink. Other notables include fellow Hall of Famers Yogi Berra and Enos Slaughter as well as Elston Howard, Al Cicotte, Charlie Keller, Moose Skowron, Jim Turner, Harry Simpson, Bobby Richardson, Jerry Coleman, Bob Turley, Joe Collins, Hank Bauer, Tony Kubek, Andy Carey, Art Ditmar, D. Johnson, Johnny Kucks, Gil McDougald and Rudy Serrett. The spot-toned ball remains in EX shape and the blue penned signatures are mostly 7-8/10 in our book. Full LOA from PSA/DNA (AG07315).
