How many big-leaguers in history can say they played in nine World Series and were on the winning side seven times? Very few, and Hank Bauer is one of them. Sure he had some incredible teammates , but the solid right-handed hitter with a fierce game face was a mainstay in right field for the Bronx Bombers from 1948-59 during which time he made three All-Star squads. He would later manage the Baltimore Orioles to that franchise's first championship in 1966, adding another ring to his arsenal.

This offered Hillerich & Bradsby professional model bat was swung by Bauer during the Yankees' glory-filled 1950's. The "S2" model is stamped on the knob and there is a "Bauer" labeled sticker on the barrel end. The handle has a custom white tape job in spiral pattern to enhance grip. There is evidence of outstanding use with an upper handle crack visible. The barrel is loaded with ball contact marks and stitch impressions from extensive use. Also visible on the bat are green bat rack streaks. An ideal example of a vintage gamer used by a key Yankee from baseball's Golden Era.

Includes LOA from John Taube of PSA/DNA (GU 8.5).
