Full unused ticket to Game 3 of the 1955 World Series between the Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Yankees played at Ebbets Field in Brooklyn on September 30, 1955. After losing the first 2 at Yankee Stadium Game 3 saw Brooklyn turn the tables at home with an 8-3 spanking of the Bronx bombers. Young Johnny Podres pitched the complete game victory and Hall of Fame catcher Roy Campanella had 3 hits, including a home run, and 3 RBI. Podres would come back in Game 7 and pitch a 2-0 shut out to help bring Brooklyn their first and only World Championship. Ticket itself is clean, EX/EX-MT looking condition with some very light toning. Back has a couple of a little darker strips of toning at the lower left and upper right edges. Nice looking ticket.
