In 1955 the Brooklyn Dodgers not only won the National League pennant, but 'Dem Bums finally went on to beat their crosstown pinstriped rivals from the Bronx in the World Series. It was one of the more memorable seasons and Fall Classics in baseball history, with the "Boys of Summer" winning an epic seven-game series and capturing the hearts of baseball lovers everywhere.

Presented here is a full proof ticket from Game 2 at Yankee Stadium. Yanks starter Tommy Byrne was the hero at the dish and on the hill, knocking in two runs with a clutch single in the fourth and pitching a complete game victory to put New York up 2-0 in the series and seemingly on the verge of another series victory.

The colorful Lower Stand Box Seat proof with the iconic Yankkes logo conjures up memories of those epic battles between a slew of legendary Hall of Famers on the hallowed grounds of Ebbets Field and Yankee Stadium. The well-preserved ticket has been graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. Only one Game 2 proof has been graded higher.
