Still two years away from the Major Leagues, twenty year-old Roger Maris was honing his swing with the Reading Indians in 1955. That swing would one day lead him to one of the most storied records in all of sports, baseball’s single-season home run record, and make him a household name. The young lefty slugger played in 113 games for the single A Reading club in 1955.  During that season he added his signature to this 6” by 9” sheet of paper along with 18 other Reading Indians, including Dick Brown, who went to the big leagues with him and became a Cleveland backstop. The sheet is about EX with strong blue ink signatures.  The sheet is matted with a vintage 8” by 10” team photo making for an ideal display.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
