1955 brought the Bronx Bombers another American League flag after toppling the reigning 1954 Champion Cleveland Indians. However, 1955 was the year the Brooklyn Dodgers finally would not be denied in October. Thirty-five members of the 1955 AL champion New York Yankees have autographed this team issued 16” by 20” photo, most notably Hall of Famers Mickey Mantle, Whitey Ford, Phil Rizzuto, Bill Dickey, Yogi Berra and Casey Stengel. The signature of Bobby Richardson has been deemed the lone clubhouse example. The matted and framed photo shows some light creasing with signatures averaging 5-6/10. Mantle and Stengel are among the boldest.
