This 35 inch, 32.8oz Hillerich & Bradsby model C117L Duke Snider professional model bat dates from the 1955-59 period based on the labeling. It shows evidence of excellent use with several ball marks and ball stitch impressions visible on all sides of the barrel. Cleat marks are visible on the right and back barrel. Also visible on the bat are green and red bat rack streaks. The model number (13C117L) is stamped into the knob. This bat is part of a restoration project of game used bats that were used as the legs of bar stools. The stools were made up of players such as Yogi Berra, Ted Williams, Duke Snider, Mickey Mantle and several more. Restoration has been performed to areas of the handle and barrel, however the bat retains an outstanding original appearance with original usage traits unaffected. A fine looking gamer from the height of Snider’s Hall of Fame career. Includes a full LOA from John Taube of PSA/DNA.
