The 1955-56 season marked the then-Minneapolis Lakers eighth campaign in the NBA. Coached by John Kundla, the team finished in second place in the Western Division standings with a record of 33-39. They actually defeated the St. Louis Hawks in a one-game, second-place tiebreaker, 103-97. This lot features an aged team-signed Wilson Official basketball signed by 11 squad members including Coach Kundla. Other notable signatures, all in ink, include Clyde Lovellette, Slater martin. Whitey Skoog, Chuck Mencel, Ed Kalafat Lew Hitch and Dick Garmaker.
