PSA AUTHENTIC full unused ticket from Game 2 of the 1953 World Series between the New York Yankees and Brooklyn Dodgers at Yankee Stadium, a rematch from the prior year. Billy Martin hit a game-tying homer in the 7th inning and Mickey Mantle hit a two-run shot in the bottom of the eighth to give the Yankees the 4-2 win and a 2-0 lead in the series. This was Mantle's 3rd career World Series home run. The Yanks would continue to torment their cross-town rivals by taking the series in six games for their fifth straight World Championship, a record that has not and most likely will never be broken.

The ticket has strong colors and bold print, but has a major crease down the middle and some chipping on the back. Still, it seems like it deserves at least a low number grade. The corners (designed to be round) and edges are in good shape. Pop 3 with only four having received number grades (PR 1, FR 1.5 and two VG 3).
