This attractive serving tray commemorates the World Champion New York Yankees of 1953 and their unprecedented fifth consecutive championship. The silver finish tray is 13" in diameter and features a large "V" at the center surrounded by the years 1949 through 1953. 36 facsimile autographs covering the complete playing roster, coaching staff and several franchise executives grace the rest of the front surface. They are: Hank Bauer, Yogi Berra, Don Bollweg, Andy Carey, Jerry Coleman, Joe Collins, Frank Crosetti, Bill Dickey, Whitey Ford, Tom Gorman, Ralph Houk, Steve Kraly, Bob Kuzava, Ed Lopat, Mickey Mantle, Billy Martin, Gus Mauch, Jim McDaniel, Gil McDougald, Bill Miller, Willie Miranda, Johnny Mize, Irv Noren, Vic Raschi, Bill Renna, Allie Reynolds, Phil Rizzuto, Johnny Sain, Art Schallock, Charlie Silvera, Casey Stengel, Dan Topping, Gus Triandos, Jim Turner, George Weiss, and Gene Woodling. The front surface of the piece shows mild toning with no dings or material damage. The back does have some tarnish. EX-MT looking condition.
