What made Marilyn Monroe so mesmerizing in her heyday was her incorrigible sex appeal and the uniquely daring way in which she carried herself. Both are on full display in this risque pose on her namesake 1953 Marilyn Monroe Pin-ups issue from Maco Magazine Corp. The most beloved and desirable movie star of all-time, the blonde bombshell is pictured on a sandy beach wearing a tiny one-piece bathing suit with her arms straight up as if she is preparing to dive into the water. The red background makes her image pop, giving it fantastic eye appeal.

This is the more coveted "Recalled Edition" in which it was recalled by the publisher due to a "Casual Monroe" black & white section featuring Monroe bra-less in a white blouse. There are various other shots of Marilyn inside. The magazine sold for the fair price of thirty-five cents back in 1953. It has been encapsulated by CGC and given a grade of 8.0 Very Fine. Only two copies have been graded higher according to CGC's census report.
