Presented here is an incredibly rare full unused ticket to Game 1 of the 1952 World Series between the New York Yankees and Brooklyn Dodgers at Ebbets Field. Joe Black pitched a complete game and became the first African-American pitcher to win a World Series game as Brooklyn took the opener at home, 4-2. Jackie Robinson's leadoff homer in the 2nd inning was his first ever World Series home run. Snider and Reese also homered for the Dodgers, but 'Dem Bums would eventually lose the series in seven tough games. It would be the fourth straight World Series title for the Yanks, a streak that would eventually end at a record five in a row. Graded VG 3 by PSA, the ticket displays very nicely with its only major flaw being a pinhole to the right of the Dodgers' logo on the front. Pop 1 of 2 with none graded higher or even encapsulated!
