This 8 by 33 1/2 inch black and white silver gelatin panoramic photograph features thirty-six members of the 1953 New York Yankees team. Every individual photographed has added their signature in impeccable blue ink from key players down to every coach, trainer and even the batboy. The 1953 Yankees did something no other team in baseball history has ever accomplished. They won an unprecedented fifth consecutive World Series title when they defeated the Brooklyn Dodgers in six games that October. This photo was once the personal possession of that teams greatest star. It originates from the Mickey Mantle estate wherein it was kept from the time Mantle received it from the team in 1953 until it was sold at auction as part of the Mickey Mantle estate collection in 2003. It comes with a certificate of authenticity and provenance signed by Mickey's family including Merlyn Mantle and sons David and Danny Mantle. An additional LOA is provided by PSA/DNA.
