1952 marked a fourth straight World Series triumph for the New York Yankees, matching their historic streak from the late '30s. The team won 95 games under the guidance of skipper Casey Stengel en route to their 19th pennant and 15th championship. The Post-DiMaggio era left nothing to be desired in the Bronx, with the likes of Yogi Berra behind the dish, a 20-year-old Mickey Mantle in centerfield, and 20-game winner Allie Reynolds filling the role of ace while Whitey Ford was off serving in the military.

This well-preserved OAL (Harridge) ball with a consistently warm, off-white surface holds a total of 25 clean blue ink autographs, most appearing at least 7/10 in strength and eye appeal. Hall of Famers Mantle (6/10), Berra, Phil Rizzuto and Johnny Mize are joined by Allie Reynolds, Joe Collins, Ralph Houk, Bobby Hogue, Ed Lopat, Vic Raschi, Billy Martin, Jim Turner, Gene Woodling, Hank Bauer, Ed Lopat, Johnny Sain, Irv Noren, Joe Ostrowski, Bob Kuzava, Tom Morgan, B. Miller, Gil McDougald, Jim McDonald, Bob Cerv and Jim Brideweser. Note: “Special to lonesome George Pfeiffer” on sweet spot is in an unknown hand and Charlie Silvera has been deemed clubhouse. '52 Yankees team balls of this caliber are few and far between in the hobby. Includes full LOA from PSA/DNA (AG02546).
