Near set (9/11) of the very interesting and popular 1951 Topps Connie Mack's All-Stars issue. Each has the back in place with no evidence of ever having been punched out. However, because of the usually found small creases it is doubtful that any would reach a technical grade above VG-EX. All cards have some WATER STAINING along parts of both the front left and back right edge. Some have the same at the top and/or bottom edge also. Included in the lot are: Mickey Cochrane, Eddie Collins, Jimmy Collins, Walter Johnson*, Connie Mack*, Christy Mathewson*, Babe Ruth, Tris Speaker, and Honus Wagner. *dark paper back. Also included is a Hoot Evers from the more difficult 1951 Topps Major League All-Stars series. Full card with back. Does not appear to have been punched out. About VG overall. Ding at lower left corner. WATER STAINING at the front left and back right edge plus top and bottom edges. Despite problems, decent eye appeal for a highly popular early Topps issue.
