The late Stan Musial was one of the most successful baseball players of his era. “Stan the Man” earned seven National League batting titles during his 22-year career – all with St. Louis – and retired after the 1963 season as the Cardinals’ beloved hero. It was a career in which he won three World Series titles with the Redbirds and made 24 All-Star Game appearances. Note: MLB played two All-Star Games per season from 1959 to ’62.

This lot includes one of Musial’s St. Louis Cardinals game-used equipment bags from the 1950s. Showing plenty of wear and tear, the red-and-blue, Cardinals-labeled bag measures 24” long by 18” wide and includes a stamped No. 6 (Musial’s uniform number) on one end. Vintage Slaymaker “Rustless” lock is still attached. Musial has signed the bag in black marker on one side of the bag and added “#6” to it. A unique piece of baseball memorabilia from one of the game’s favorite players.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
