1949 World Champion New York Yankees Team signed baseball. It was the first in a string of 6 consecutive World Championships for the Bronx Bombers. The New York Yankees led by legendary skipper Casey Stengel and Superstar Joe DiMaggio picked up their 16th World Series Pennant by beating their cross town rivals, Brooklyn Dodgers in 5 games. This baseball is shellacked with some toning which seemed to preserve several key signatures including Joe DiMaggio, Phil Rizzuto, Ed Lopat, Vic Raschi and many more.
