This example of the incredibly rare #50 Rocky Graziano card from the beautiful and popular 1948 Leaf Boxing issue is fresh to the hobby. To date only 6 of these gems have ever been handled by PSA. In 1948, Graziano was a very popular fan favorite and the reigning World Middleweight Champion. Various stories are given for the scarcity of this card with the most credible being that there was some sort of dispute over money between Graziano and Leaf right before the set was issued, resulting in his card being pulled and omitted from the 49 card issue at the last possible moment. This beauty packs a lot of eye appeal, with outstanding color and a stunning picture image. Card is dead on 50/50 side to side and about 55/45 top to bottom with clean surfaces on front and back. Corners rate about VG/VG+. One crease appears a little more than an inch down from near the top center. Hand cutting from uncut sheet left part of the top border uneven, resulting in the PSA AUTHENTIC rating. How long will it be before you see another?
