Awesome Basketball Association of American Champion Minneapolis Lakers team photo signed by all 9 players pictured, including Hall of Famers George Mikan and Jim Pollard, in overall 9/10 looking vintage blue and black ink. Players are: Don Carlson, Jack Dwan, Tony Jaros, John Jorgensen, George Mikan, Paul Napolitano, Jim Pollard, Herm Schaefer, and Don Smith. The Lakers finished 2nd in the BAA Western Division then breezed thru undefeated in the first 2 rounds of the play-offs before downing the Washington Capitols 4 games to 2 in the finals to win the final BAA Championship. The next year would see the BAA merge with NBL to form the modern day NBA. Photo itself has some creases and is inscribed by an unknown hand at the bottom "To Our N. Y. Rooter Max Winter Gen-Mgr Mpls". Beautiful piece of early pre-NBA basketball history.
