Personal checks signed by George Herman Ruth are quite valuable, but somewhat common by collectors standards. However, twice signed checks by The Babe are rather tough to come across. This particular example, made out to "Cash" on August 20, 1946, in the amount of $100 on his personalized The Chase National Bank check, exhibits a bit of bleeding from the black ink. But the "GH Ruth" signature on the front remains in 6-7/10 shape. A much cleaner endorsed autograph on the back by Babe makes this a gem to own.

The check has been encapsulated "Authentic" by PSA/DNA.
