1) Attractive 1945 Chicago Cubs World Series pennant marking last time the Cubs played in the Series. Simple design 11" by 28" pennant with "WORLD SERIES" surrounding "1945" at the left and "Chicago Cubs" cover 15 inches toward the tip. Blue color still strong with white lettering clean. 3 small pin/thumb tack holes at each corner. Beautiful and not often seen pennant. The first one we've seen with this design.
2) Beautiful condition 1945 Chicago Cubs - Detroit Tigers World Series Program. Unscored program super clean both inside and out. No ads but loaded with player pictures from both teams plus a "Cub's Roll of Honor" covering the inside back page which lists all 347 members of the Cubs organization - players, employees, and players on minor league affiliates, who served in uniform during World War II. Program has very light indications, mainly visible on back, that it was once gently folded vertically down the center. Some wear visible down the spine. Despite this, program still displays NM from the front.
