In what is still considered one of the greatest NFL championship game individual performances ever, Chicago quarterback Sid Luckman threw for 5 touchdowns in leading the Bears to an overwhelming 41-21 win over the Redskins. Included is a Wrigley Field “Lower Deck” ticket stub. The ticket stub bears the date of Dec. 19, 1943, the original date scheduled for the Championship game. As it happened, the East Div. Championship race resulted in a tie--between the Giants and Redskins--and a game at the Polo Grounds was held on the 19th to determine who would face the Bears the following week. The stub has multiple creases and a game score notation written on the back. Encapsulated as “AUTHENTIC” by PSA. This is the only '43 NFL Championship stub in the PSA registry.
